8. Cookies

The website only uses technical cookies necessary for it to work: language preference (yv_lang), resuming your valuation (yv_v, yv_c), where your visit came from when you arrive through a campaign link (yv_src: utm and gclid parameters of the address, 30 days), broker area session (yv_broker, 30 days), administration session. 9. Listing requests shown to brokers

By submitting a listing request after the valuation, the owner agrees that the boat's information (make, model, year, characteristics, estimated selling price, home port and area, selling timeframe, photos and remarks) is shown to the brokers subscribed to YachtVerify who cover the area of the home port. The owner's name, phone number and email are only passed on to the brokers who open the listing request, three at most. The service is free for the owner, who remains free to accept no proposal. YachtVerify is not a party to any mandate or to the sale. • Purpose: showing the boat to brokers covering the home port's area so that they can make the owner a proposal for its sale. • Legal basis: the owner's request and consent, given by ticking the box when submitting (text, date and time kept). • Recipients: registered and approved brokers in the area (without contact details); the brokers who open the listing request, three at most (with contact details); the technical providers in section 6. Each broker who opens the listing request then processes the contact details received under its own responsibility, as a separate data controller, to offer its sales services; it has undertaken not to use them for other purposes or pass them on. The owner is notified by email of each opening (broker's name, agency, city). YachtVerify does not sell data. • Duration: the listing request is shown for 12 months at most. At the end of these 12 months, the contact details, photos and remarks are erased; the listing log only keeps facts (dates, number of photos), without contact details. • Right to withdraw: the owner can withdraw the listing request at any time from the follow-up link. It is then no longer shown, and the brokers who had opened it are notified and no longer see the contact details. The owner may also ask a broker to stop all contact. Other rights are exercised as set out in section 7.
